First Solar Boat to UP on its way

Our first #solarelectricboat to #UttarPradesh is on its way. This is a 25 passenger #solarboat with 3 kW solar panels, twin sets of 20 kWh DNV approved #LFP marine batteries with highest safety standard, twin outboard motors of 12 kW, and #Orca electric steering. The boat will be owned by UPNEDA and named as Maruti. It will be deployed in #Sarayu river and be an exciting addition for the large number of pilgrims coming to #Ayodhya for the #RamJanmabhoomi Temple visit. This is third boat in the Marsel series and is build under Indian Register of Shipping.

Capacity – 30 passengers + crew
Solar plant – 3 kW
Battery – 2 x 20 kWh Manta LFP batteries (DNV Type Approved)
Motors – 2 x 12 kWh OBM
Steering – Orca electric
