I had the great opportunity to present a paper in FROST (Forum for River and Ocean Scientists and Technologists) in the beautiful temple town of Bhubaneswar. It was a well attended conference with presenters coming from all over India and some from outside too. The focus of my paper on assessing the cost of energy in a vessel as starting point to understand OPEX. This is the first step while assessing the technology choice in marine transport and a very useful step in the decision making process.
