Why choice of Lithium Battery Chemistry is Important?

Watch the following video to see the difference between Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide (NMC) and Lithium Iron Phosphate  (LFP) battery (used in our boats) in the way they respond to a puncture. This difference is the reason for choosing LFP for public transport systems, especially boats where the time to escape from the boat is much higher than a car or bus.

So, for a safe transport system, chose the right battery chemistry, and the right power train that meets all marine standards for application in public transport.
