Cochin Shipyard has come out with the tender for supply of FRP superstructure for the 100 pax electric hybrid boats to be supplied to KMRL (23 no.s). Download here.
Some interesting observations:
- Seeing the above criteria, one can think if they are making a metro coach or a boat!
- Even rocket manufacturing will not need ten (10) years experience. I wonder what they are trying to do here!
The tender conditions are aimed to ensure that no boatyards will participate in a simple work like a superstructure of these boats. Strange are the ways of Kochi Metro!
